Remote Blogger is UGH. Tomorrow: Warm Full Bellies

Hi all! So sorry I haven't been around for the last few days. We had an unexpected family event that took us to Pittsburgh for a few days. I was all set to go on my remote blogger. I even wrote an entire blog, you know, remotely. Then I went to publish it and let's just say that it's amazing that my iphone is still in my possession and wasn't thrown out of the second story window into the cool Pittsburgh weather. It wasn't the iPhone's fault though, it was the damn remote blogger app.

So now I am announcing that I have a new arch nemesis. I only allow myself to have one at a time, so with the remote blogger app sliding into the spot, saran wrap moves back into my friendship circle. Saran wrap and I had a sorted past. When I was pregnant I had some very hormonal moments (although I was really totally not hormonal if S asks. It was all really normal.) Along with pregnancy brain and nesting and all of that other fantastic stuff, I gained the inability to properly operate saran wrap. It started slow and then one day I was in the kitchen with saran wrap stuck to more saran wrap and cuts from the saran wrap cutter, and every single roll of saran wrap we had (maybe 3 or 4) ended up in the trash can. The amazing thing, S got home, saw the trash and didn't say a word until a few days later. At that point he knew I was back to normal. That's a good husband for a pregnant wife.

S, RT, and Saran Wrap. Back in Business.
We are settling back in tonight, but tomorrow we'll have a little more about Pittsburgh and a great recipe for comforting family and friends in times of loss and also, in times of joy. When life leaves us and when we are blessed with life, it is time to feed the soul and the stomach. More tomorrow.
