Once upon a time, blogging was a breeze... and then it was Thanksgiving and I had a stomach virus. I was still confident in my ability to begin liking food again and return. Now it's time to come clean.... I can't do Christmas, and shopping, and holiday parties, and baking, and toddlers, and normal woman/wife/mom life AND do blogging. December is just not happening for Raising Texas. Trust me, Texas is being raised, it's just that the time I used to spend documenting it is now being spent (enter something to do with Christmas here). So let's just take a little holiday break. I'll be back a few more times this month. I already have loads of great posts planned for 2013. For now, I'm trying to untangle myself from something that looks like this:

I do love Christmas, and it's even more fun now that Landy is old enough to enjoy it. And it's even more busy now that Landon is old enough to enjoy it. In the words of Clark Griswold "Hallelujah, holy shit. Where's the tylenol?"
